The JRG Foundation was created in memory of Jorge Rolando "Roly" Gutierrez to provide scholarships to
Rio Grande Valley high school students seeking a higher education. Roly loved coaching and was very passionate about teaching and gearing his students towards a
higher education. Though this accident has been life changing for many, the JRG Foundation would like to carry on his legacy and honor him by providing financial assistance to Rio Grande Valley high-school athletes seeking higher education.
In our six year history we have awarded over $50,000 in scholarships to 43 different recipients throughout the Rio Grande Valley.
